Facebook

Hey everyone - if you don't have a facebook account yet, do it! It's a great way to connect with all of those friends that you aren't sure where they are. I just signed up last week and it's been a blast all week to get and receive friend notices.

New Year - REConnect!

Wow, It has been a while, ey? I wanted to check in and do a real post.

This is Stasia Bliss, formally known as Melissa Peterson. I just didn't feel like my old self anymore and in 2001 decided to make my life more intentional, that is when I decided to become 'Bliss'.
Since then, my life has taken various turns and twists and roller coasters of amazing shapes and sizes - - all over the world and deep into my soul - - leading me to the amazing and blissful space I now reside in. It has all been quite a blessing!
I live with my charming knight in shining armour - David Brown IV, and our beautiful son Heritage Satya Bliss, whom we call affectionately - Tage. He is a sweety! We live in a cute old Portland home built in the early 1900's where David's great grandparents used to live when he was a child. It has an amazing giant cedar tree in the front yard that is begging to have a treehouse built in it, and a white picket fence - which I laugh inside everytime it registers as being 'my place'.
(not what I would've have imagined ending up with!)
We have another blog: http://blissbrown.blogspot.com/ That I write on quite often with updates, video clips and such - we just started it with much pestering from my mother!
Tage and I are coming to Utah for 5 days next Friday - Jan. 30th - to say hello. My mom doesn't get to see Tage enough!
We are doing great and Portland is treating us well. I am busy not only being mom, but teaching yoga, doing Health consultations, energy work and working with crystals & stones. I work with The Human Tribe - an organization that a few women and myself started to support people in living their passion as well as to assist people in receiving alternative care services and education that hold the belief that they cannot afford it. If you or anyone you know would like to donate any such services (massage, reiki, consultations, readings, acupuncture, etc.), we are starting a nationwide network to channel these services through - we are calling 'The Abundance Circulation Network'. Anyone wishing to receive these services just needs to fill out an application and prepare to give back in someway - community service, volunteer work, etc.

I hope you are all well! Happy New Year and Blessings to all. I look forward to hearing from you and seeing new pictures! Let's make it a goal this year to do this blog thing!!
Kisses,
Stasia

Susie

Whew! I'm finally in! I've been meaning to post since about Christmas! Anyway, we're good. Lia continues to grow up too fast; she's funny and sweet and smart. We do have a file in China requesting another daughter, but the wait is over two years and still growing. So, we've tried to just put it out of our heads while we wait for awhile (easier said, than done!)

I'm curious about where Steph is with her house, and I'd love to see updated pictures of Mur's and Mel's new babies. And, of course, just hear how everyone is. So, get Muriel to help you post!

Love Susie

My Turn

I'm Muriel and this is my family. This picture is not quite a year old, but it shows us doing what we like to do, watching Broncos football (Yeah! Pre-season is finally here! Go Broncos!).

Mitchell is 7 and is going into the 2nd grade. He loves video games, reading, playing baseball and soccer and Pokemon.

Archer is 4 and starts pre-school this year. He loves watching Mitchell and Dad play video games, playing games on the computer, playing outside and, of course, Pokemon.

Addison is almost 3 and acting every second of it right now. She loves to watch TV (we have to limit her "Sponge Bob" consumption), she loves anything pink or Hello Kitty, and she loves playing outside in the backyard.

This is Baby #4. We just found out it's a boy! He's due the last week of December.

It's me...Jen

This is my family at Mesa Arch in April of this year. Shane and I have been married 14 years at the end of August (I know, wow!) We just moved into a new house at the beginning of June and it's consuming most of our time. Shane enjoys golfing and being outdoors. I enjoy scrapbooking - traditionally on paper and digitally. Check out our family blog - http://www.dicou.blogspot.com/.

This is Chandler, he's eleven. He spends his time playing games on his DS and the Gamecube, riding his bike and anything that does not have to do with school. He's pretty good at science and built a circuit one day after watching his teacher do it last year. He loves camping, scouts, and jeeping with Papa.

This is Sarah, she's six. She loves Littlest Pet Shop, Polly Pockets, and stuffed kitties. On any given day, she'll have at least one stuffed kitty with her around the house. Sarah will be in the first grade and cannot wait, she really enjoys school and loves to learn.

It's amazing how different kids can be and yet they are great friends to each other!

This is us

We live in different parts of the country. Some of us have been friends since middle school. Some us were college roommates. Some of us are missing from this picture. Regardless, we were all friends in high school and continue that friendship today. It's nice to have a group of friends who you can go out to dinner with (even if only once a year) and talk like we just saw each other yesterday. These are long lost friends.

I hope each friend will introduce themselves, tell about their families, their likes, their dislikes and post pictures. This will be a great way for us to keep in touch with each other. I love you all!
